The short version

TRP Forge is a free tool for writing World of Warcraft Total RP 3 character profiles. Use it kindly, don't abuse it, and understand that it's an independent fan project — not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment or the Total RP 3 team.

What TRP Forge is

TRP Forge is a web application for creating and editing Total RP 3 character profiles for World of Warcraft. It reads the export string the addon produces and generates a string you paste back in. It does not connect to the game, read your account, or modify anything in WoW — nothing changes in game until you paste a string into the addon yourself.

World of Warcraft and related content are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Total RP 3 is an independent open-source addon, licensed under the Apache License 2.0. TRP Forge is not produced, endorsed by, or affiliated with either.

Your content

You own the characters you write. Turning on a character's share link grants TRP Forge the licence it needs to display that page publicly, and nothing more. Turning sharing off revokes it.

We claim no ownership of your creative work. Your characters, their histories and their descriptions are yours.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use TRP Forge to:

• Publish content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Impersonate Blizzard Entertainment, the Total RP 3 developers, or any real person
• Publish content designed to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Attempt to reach other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise overload the service
• Distribute malware or malicious code through profile content

What you publish is public

A shared character page is readable by anyone who has the link. There is no age gate, no content warning, and no directory listing — TRP Forge shows the page to whoever opens it. If a character's writing isn't something you'd want a stranger to open unprepared, keep them private and share the export string directly instead.

The following is strictly prohibited on published pages and will be removed, with the account terminated:

• CSAM — any content depicting or sexualising minors. We are legally required to report this to the authorities.
• Harassment of real people — threats, doxxing, or content targeting real individuals
• Illegal content — anything illegal in the United States

There is no in-app report button. If you find a published page that breaks these rules, tell us on Discord or through the contact form with the URL, and we'll review it.

We reserve the right to remove published content and terminate accounts that violate this policy, at our discretion.

DMCA / copyright

If you believe a published page infringes your copyright, contact us with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• The URL of the infringing page
• Your contact information
• A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised

We respond to valid takedown requests promptly.

Accounts

Accounts are optional — everything works signed out, in your browser. If you create one:

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure
• An account holds up to twelve characters
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• You can delete your account at any time

Availability

TRP Forge is provided "as is", without warranty. We do our best to keep it running, but we can't guarantee:

• Uptime or uninterrupted availability
• That exported strings will stay compatible with future Total RP 3 versions
• That shared character URLs will remain accessible forever

Keep your own copies of anything you'd hate to lose — the export screen hands you the whole profile as a string, any time you ask.

Limitation of liability

TRP Forge is a free community tool. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of it, including lost data, overwritten in-game profiles, or interruptions to the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it; significant changes move the date at the top of this page.
