Straight answers
Will this touch my in-game profile?
No — nothing changes until you paste the string into the addon yourself. No. TRP Forge never talks to the game. It reads the string you paste in and produces a string you copy out — nothing in WoW changes until you paste that string into the addon yourself.
Do I need an account?
No. Characters live in your browser; an account only syncs devices and enables sharing. No. Characters live in your browser and everything works without signing in. An account does two things only: syncs across devices, and turns on your share link.
Does my formatting survive?
